What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?
One of my favorite projects I have worked on is the Apartment project at the old Ford Plant at the Highland Bridge Development. Not only is this project noteworthy due to the site history and location, but it is also one of the first buildings on the 133-acre site. This Multi-Use project provides an opportunity for us to utilize our in-house Development and A+E team as well as incorporate unique structural design elements.
How did you get started in the construction industry?
My love for construction started at age 5 when I disassembled and reassembled my parent’s toaster. My father, a previous owner of a local GC, helped solidify my interest in construction management by bringing me on site tours and introducing me to complex, multifaceted construction projects.
How are you celebrating Women in Construction Week?
I am celebrating Women in Construction week by attending the Association of Women Contractors Luncheon as well as the virtual outreach event. These are both great opportunities to build and continue to maintain relationships with women industry professionals.
