What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?

I love the demo projects. I love watching a building get tore down, cleared, cleaned up then rebuilt. Truly amazing!

How did you get started in the construction industry?

My step dad offered me a summer job in Stonington, IL at a Monsanto plant. I was hired to do office administrative tasks but soon learned to use a telehandler, rig steel I beam and sheetmetal to the crane. I even welded some sheets together before I. I learned so much at this summer job.

How are you celebrating Women in Construction Week?
