This year we’re thrilled to celebrate Women in Construction Week by showcasing the talented women who make up our organization and industry. Meet Amber Sager, Project Manager at Adolfson & Peterson Construction!

Years in the industry?

10

What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?

Minnesota Masonic Home Interior Renovation in Bloomington, MN. The Minnesota Masonic Home has a long-standing history and has provided well-established care and comfort to many residents over the one hundred years since it opened. I am excited to put new life back into the resident wings for the residents and staff and proud to serve the Masonic community.

How did you get started in the construction industry?

I entered the industry by accident after taking an entry-level project administrator role that a friend referred me to. Once I got a taste of construction there was no going back for me. I chose to go to college to pursue a Project Management degree and now I get to do what I love!

Why is it important to celebrate women in construction?

There are many reasons to celebrate women, but one of them that I feel is worth highlighting is the unique perspective that women bring to the table.

How are you celebrating WIC Week?

I am celebrating women during WIC week by organizing/planning WIC events alongside the other incredible women at AP!
