What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?
To date, I would have to say the work we did at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington. We have done all new quartz counters in the common areas of the hotel. It has made a remarkable difference in the look of the hotel. It is beautiful. I look forward to continuing to do work in the rooms of the hotel.
How did you get started in the construction industry?
I was born into it. I take after my father. In my 40 + years I have been a drafter, project manager, painter & remodeler for various companies. Now I am the Commercial Sales Executive and Project Manager for a stone countertop company (8 years). I love my job!
How are you celebrating Women in Construction Week?
I hope to take the site supervisor of one of our current projects out to lunch. She is also a woman in construction.
