What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?
Every project is unique and interesting but my current projects are the most rewarding- senior living communities. I’m not in this for the projects though, I like construction for the people. I am privileged to work with a diverse range of people; from engineers, architects, owners, and tradepeople. It’s fun to bring people together to work towards a common goal.
How did you get started in the construction industry?
In 2009, my brother needed help managing his flooring company. In 2013, I moved to Ryan Companies and have been there ever since.
How are you celebrating Women in Construction Week?
What I will be doing? Maybe a virtual happy hour in my sweatpants before helping kids learn pre-algebra. Ryan Companies’ does have a plethora of WIC week activities. This year, everything is virtual which allows more people to participate when we are out on the jobsite or working from home.
