What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?
Thankful for the expansion of KW to now offer Scaffold along with Mechanical Insulation: Working with JE Dunn on The MN State Building Remodel Project- protecting the statue of Leif Erickson for 2 years surrounding him with Scaffold & the U of M Fraser project with Mortenson providing Scaffold.
How did you get started in the construction industry?
I was a young widow looking for a new chapter in my life and I found a great opportunity to join a 100 % women/owned Insulation & Scaffold Company. I am thankful for all the great friends who have encouraged, educated and mentored me along the way as we continue to KW Insulation & Scaffold.
Why is it important to celebrate women in construction?
WIC week is so important to celebrate, embrace, mentor and inspire fellow women in the Construction world.
How are you celebrating WIC Week?
KW will be attending AWC & NAWIC events. KW will be celebrating our female Journeymen & Apprentices in the field working hard every day!
