What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?
That is a hard choice! I have loved being on all of my projects. They all come with their own experiences. I would say it is a tie between helping with Mine Outages and the Proton Therapy machinery install.
How did you get started in the construction industry?
I originally had a plan to work in a veterinary clinic out of college. Once I graduated a friend told me about a position for a structural steel fabricator. I got the job, and fell in love with construction! I have been a part of this wonderful world ever since!
Why is it important to celebrate women in construction?
I think to help women know they are not alone in this industry. There are more and more every day coming into the field, but it is nice to come together and connect with other women in construction. I feel you get so used to what you have going on that you forget what others are dealing with.
